What are Club Nights?
Albany Creek Swim Club conducts club nights for it’s members on Wednesday evenings throughout the swim season; from October until March. Club Nights are held weekly in Term 4 up until the Christmas break and fortnightly in Term 1.
The purpose of these nights is to introduce swimmers to a competitive environment while enjoying the social aspect with friends and family.
Club Nights commence at 6:15pm sharp and conclude around 7:30pm. To ensure Club Nights run on time it is important that parents volunteer for set up, timekeeping and packing away duties.

How Do I get Started at Club Nights?
If you would like to try out on Club Nights you are welcome to trial 2 Club Nights free of charge. This means you can swim up to four (4) events at two (2) Club Nights before paying your membership fees.

How do I enter Club Nights and other swimming competitions and meets?
Once you have decided to become a member of the Albany Creek Swimming Club, you will need to purchase or renew your membership via Swim Central. To register for club nights you will need to download the Swim Club Connect App and create a profile. Nominate for club nights and volunteer positions.
Swim Central have a number of resources available under Help on their site to support parents and carers with using the site.
What is the next step of competition after Club Nights?
When swimmers are confident competing at Club Nights they may like to move onto Regional Carnivals or Swim Meets. These meets are held by other swim clubs within the Brisbane Region and are held throughout the year.
Meets that Albany Creek Swim Club swimmers are eligible to attend are listed on the Events Page in Swim Central and notices of upcoming meets are shared through our Members email distribution list.

What are the swimming squad training times for my child?
Albany Creek Swim Club members participate in the Swim Squad run by the Albany Creek Leisure Centre. The times for each squads can be found on the Albany Creek Leisure Centre page.
How do I find my child’s times?
You can find your child’s club night swim results in the Swim Club Connect App. For carnival times the Meet Mobile App is also a great way to follow live results (in near real time) on your device or mobile phone (subscription required).
Why does my child have to be registered with Swimming QLD?
All swimmers must be registered with Swimming QLD to be covered by our Public Liabilty Insurance policy. This includes competitive swimmers competing for Albany Creek Swim Club as well as non-competitive swimmers who choose to only participate in club nights.
Parents must also register with Swimming Queensland.
What is Swim Central?
Proudly created by Swimming Australia and its member organisations, Swim Central is an online portal created specifically to support swimmers and swim clubs.
